Frontiers in Marine Science, one of the leading prestigious journals in the field of marine sciences, has opened a special issue call, with the editor-in-chief of Associate Professor Sedat Gündoğdu from our group. This call is open to all studies that examine the potential of materials offered as alternatives to petroleum-derived plastics to be a solution to the plastic pollution crisis. The co-editors of this special issue are researchers who are experts in their fields.

The deadline for submission of the special issue is May 17, 2022.
