Mıcroplastıc Research Group
The Microplastics Research Group was established in 2016 to investigate microplastic pollution in Türkiye’s environments. The group’s primary objective is to determine the current state of plastic pollution in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, evaluate its effects on organisms, and provide policymakers with reliable scientific data. The group also carries out social awareness projects based on its research findings.
